The Hilo Woman's Club is a group of women banded together, providing service to our community since 1921. Our members are highly motivated and volunteer their time to serve and perform many activities throughout the year. We welcome all to join us in making a difference in our club and community. If this sounds like you, or you're just curious, call us up for a membership form or drop by one of our meetings. We would love to have you and bring a friend.
The Happy Jar
The membership dues are low, but the return is high.
By clicking the link below and joining our club, you agree to participate in at least two events a year to serve the community. Events can include dances and wine tastings as well as rummage sales, community partnering in parades, and used book sales at the library. Each year is a little different.
Members are expected to purchase tickets to the various events to keep overhead costs down and ensure as many proceeds go to our donation and scholarship funds.

Keep us from pettiness; Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
Let us be done with fault-finding and leave off self-seeking.
May we put away all pretenses and meet each other face to face without self-pity and without prejudice.
Let us take time for all things; make us grow calm, serene, gentle.
Let us put into action our better impulses, straight forward and unafraid.
May we realize it is the little things that create differences, that in the big things in life, we are at one.
And may we strive to touch and to know the great, common, human heart of us all.
And please, let us not forget to be kind.
